Hyster White iron Sugarcane Cutter knife
Also called chrome carbide knife edges, knife tips, it is an extremely strong abrason resistant composite consisting of complex carbides in a metallic matrix. This is metallurgically bonded to a mild steel backing plate.
The carbide have a minimum hardness of 770HV and contain carbides up to 1500Hv.
PROPERTIES:
Material: ASTM A532 15/3CrMo White Iron, vacuum brazed onto mild steel backing plate.
1. Bond shear strength: 350Mpa;
2. Carbides volume fraction: >32%
3. Hardness: 700BHN / 63HRC
